 Better Communication Skills Are One Meeting Away. Whether you're a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retiree, Toastmasters is the best way to improve your communication skills. Toastmasters can help you lose the fear of public speaking and learn skills that you help you be more successful in whatever path in life you've chosen. You already have some or all of these skills. How to Join Gresham Toastmasters
First, be a guest at a meeting. We meet every Wednesday from 6:30am - 7:45am at David Douglas High School, 1001 SE 135th Avenue, Portland, OR 97233. Please use the main door, near the flag pole.
At the meeting, talk to Jeff or Freda - we'll be looking for you! We'll answer your questions and give you the agenda so you can follow along.
See what happens when a group of helpful, supportive people come together to improve each other's speaking and listening skills. You'll be impressed!
Requirements for Membership
There aren't any, except:

Have a desire to improve your skills in speaking, listening, presenting, and leading.

Be willing to to attend regularly and to participate (that's how you improve!)

Have the ability to be awake, dressed, and ready to participate at 6:30am!
Important side benefit: Delicious breakfast cooked by someone other than you.

Current Members
The Treasurer collects dues in March and September.
New Members
Dues are collected when the member is inducted. In addition to dues (prorated) new members pay a Toastmasters International one-time join fee of $20.
Toastmasters pay $72 per year in dues. Of this, Gresham Toastmasters receives $18, and Toastmasters International receives $54. Our club funds are used to buy pins, ribbons, guest packet materials, educational materials, and welcome guest breakfasts.
